The Little Covers easily slip over the end of your barrel to prevent an accidental shot from leaving the barrel. The older styles of barrel plugs have a tendency to act like a projectile when a ball hits them. This new style of barrel protection, like the Little X, is secured to the marker by elastic strings that wrap around your hopper or back of your marker. Tournament series, like the NPPL, are mandating all players to use this type of barrel protection.
